Turn on Multifactor Authentication

đź’ˇ Tech Tip Thursday

Turn on Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) everywhere you can.

Passwords alone aren’t enough anymore. Even strong ones can be stolen through phishing or data breaches. MFA adds a second layer—like a text code, app approval, or fingerprint—that stops hackers cold.

Start with these accounts first:

  • Email (especially Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo)
  • Banking & credit cards
  • Social media
  • Business tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, QuickBooks)
